Next stop is Celadon City, where the player can get a free Eevee, and fight the Grass-type leader Erika, to get the next badge. Before Celdon, however, is Rock Tunnel, which leads to Lavender town, which houses the Pokémon Tower, where dead Pokémon go. In the Tower, the rival is fought again. After getting the fourth badge, the player can go to Saffron City, free the Company Silph from Team Rocket, and get the Silph Scope, which allows the player to progress to the end of the Tower, and save Mr Fuji, who gives the player the Poké Flute, which wakes sleeping Pokémon and can be used in battle.
 
At Fuschia City, the player can use the Safari Zone and fight Koga, the Poison-type Gym Leader, and get a Soul Badge, the fifth badge. Then the player is recommended to get the Badge from the Saffron City leader Sabrina, who uses the Psycic Type. It is then possible tp get [[Zapdos]] and [[Articuno]], although the player can go straight to Cinnbar City, beat the Fire-type Blaine, and then get the option to go to the first three Sevii Islands, where [[Moltres]] is newly housed.
 
Back in Viridian City, the player beats the Ground-type Giavanii, also Team Rocket Leader, and get the last badge. The its the Pokémon Leauge, where the player fights:

Bruno- Rock/Ground/Fighting-type
Agatha- Poison-type
Lance- Dragon-type
 
And finally the Pokémon Champion, there Rival, who become the Champ moments before the Player beat the Elite Four. After beating him, the player becoms the Champion.
 
After the credits, the other Sevii Islands can be explored, featuring Johto and Hoeen Pokémon, and obtain there Pokémon Dog, either [[Entei]], [[Raikou]] or [[Suicune]] depending on there starter.

The player can, after the Sevii Island events, explore the Cerulean/Unknown Cave and get the Lvl 70 [[Mewtwo]]. The Elite Four and Champion Rival can also be fought a second time, with new and improved teams, most Pokémon 10-15 levels stronger.
