(Japanese: ツタージャ・ゲットでメロメロ!? Tsutarja - Attracted by Capture!?) is the seventh episode of the Best Wishes series, and the 664th episode of the Pokémon anime. It aired in Japan on October 28, 2010.

Synopsis

Template:Incomplete synopsis Ash, Dent, and Iris take a break in a forest and start to eat some cakes. Suddenly, Tsutarja, the Grass Snake Pokémon, appears from the the grass and starts to eat their cakes. Ash finds Tsutarja and throws a Poké Ball but it breaks free. Ash wants to capture Tsutarja and sends in Pikachu. Pikachu uses Quick Attack and Tsutarja dodges. Ash calls for a Thunderbolt but Tsutarja uses Attract and stops Pikachu. Tsutarja then runs away after using a Grass Oath. Ash sends Mamepato to find Tsutarja. Mamepato finds it and Mijumaru comes out and wants to battle. Mijumaru uses Water Gun and Tsutarja dodges and use Vine Whip. Mijumaru blocks it with it's shell and Ash calls for Shell Blade. Tsutarja uses Attract on him and he can't battle due to infatuation and Tsutarja runs away again. Mamepato continues to search. Ash and Pikachu follow. Ash swings on vines to move faster but one breaks and he falls into quicksand with Pikachu. Iris and Dent throw a vine to him and pulls them out of the quicksand. Ash battles Tsutarja again, this time with Pokabu. Ash calls for an Ember and Tsutarja dodges and uses Attract. Pokabu becomes infatuated and Ash calls him back. Mamepato is still flying about and Ash calls for it to battle. Mamepato uses Gust and Tsutarja dodges it and uses Attract. It does not effect Mamepato. Iris and Dent talk about how Mamepato is a female but Ash is clueless. Mamepato uses Quick Attack and Ash throws another Poké Ball. Tsutarja breaks free. Tsutarja uses Vine Whip and hits Mamepato but then she uses Air Cutter and hits Tsutarja. Ash throws another Poké Ball and captures Tsutarja.

  • The eyecatches have been updated to include Iris and Dent.
  • The genders of all of the Pokémon Ash has captured in Isshu are confirmed in this episode (Mijumaru and Pokabu are male while Mamepato and Tsutarja are female).
    • This also marks the largest number of a main character's Pokémon's genders being revealed in one episode, a total of four.
    • This episode also marks the first time in the series that Ash has had more than one confirmed female Pokémon on hand.
  • This is the first episode of Best Wishes not to debut any new Pokémon.
  • This episode marks the third time Ash has captured all the starters of that region. He did so for the first time in Kanto, then did it again in Johto. However, for the next two regions, he didn't, only getting one starter in Hoenn, and two in Sinnoh.
