Jessie's Wobbuffet: Difference between revisions

* Until [[Duplica]] pointed it out, Wobbuffet always used {{m|Counter}} to deflect attacks. Although this should only work against physical attacks, it actually worked against any. Even though Jessie gets confused as to whether to use {{m|Counter}} or {{m|Mirror Coat}}, whenever Jessie wants to counter an attack using Wobbuffet, she would just say "Wobbuffet, counter that attack" or similar since she told Wobbuffet to use its head when countering a physical or special attack.

* Wobbuffet was the technical first of seven Pokémon to have been introduced in [[Generation II]] and be on the team of the main cast during the {{series|Diamond & Pearl}}. Many, however, do not count it as heavily as the other six ({{TP|Dawn|Aipom|Ambipom}}, {{TP|Brock|Sudowoodo}}, {{AP|Gligar|Gliscor}}, {{TP|Jessie|Yanma|Yanmega}}, {{TP|Dawn|Swinub|Mamoswine}} and {{TP|Dawn|Cyndaquil}}) because it joined Jessie's party ''long'' before the beginning of the series, while the others were, with the exception of Aipom, captured or evolved into their Generation II form within the series. Aipom, of course, was captured shortly before the beginning.
