Right, but I think the point was make it look really different and unkempt, so you'd notice a difference when styling. Nobody claims their pet rat is in the top percentage of rats either. Pokémon don't follow the rules of real world logic, so Furfrou could easily be based on a Poodle with traits of an Afghan Hound. Its Korean name is 트리미앙 ''Teurimiang''.

I've just noticed there's like 10,000 screenshots of Furfrou with various trims in the anime on Archives, but we're only using the Heart trim one on the article.
