By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Fennekin

Serena's Fennekin is not confirmed to be female. Stop adding that to the article.--Den Zen 11:01, 4 April 2014 (UTC)

I do not mean to vandalise. But this highly suggests that Fokko is Female due to the diva personality and appearance.- unsigned comment from Zhixun (talkcontribs)

Yes, I have watched the episode and know that "Fokko" is pretty feminine. But that doesn't mean it is female, there's even an in-universe example in the BW episode in which Meowth and Oshawott wrongly assumed that Purrloin is a female. Also, remember to sign your posts.--Den Zen 11:17, 4 April 2014 (UTC)

OK I will stop editing Fokko page from now on.- unsigned comment from Zhixun (talkcontribs)

And finally, don't sign your posts later if you forgot to initially do so, and your signature must have a link to your user page. See the signature policy for more information.--Den Zen 11:31, 4 April 2014 (UTC)

Chinese translations

Please do not add any unofficial Chinese names, even if those translations are more accurate. The other language table only lists translations that are used in the official media, such as the anime, manga, and guidebooks. While 牽連 isn't accurate in relation to the Japanese name, the name refers to its attack power in relation to the user's friendship. --超龍Chao 12:41, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

Japanese names

Please don't use characters' Japanese names when editing the mainspace articles. It's okay to use Japanese names on talk and user pages, but on mainspace articles you should use English names (unless it's not known).--Den Zen 13:27, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

Serena

Please stop re-adding the comparison about older female traveling companions and Serena. Constantly re-adding removed content is considered edit warring and if it continues, it could lead to a temporary block from editing. Please try to have a discussion on the talk page or user(s) who removed the content instead in the future if you have an issue with an edit. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 21:44, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
