Link Templates

Please use link templates when linking to stuff such as Pokémon names, attacks, and the like. For example, {{p|Sentret}} instead of just [[Sentret]]. This is so you don't unintentionally link to a disambiguation page.

For a full crash course on link templates, look at the list of link templates. --Psyライダー 22:06, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

Mkay, I'm gonna ask you again to please use link templates in your summaries. They are a lot easier than doing typing all of that out... --Psyライダー 01:11, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Synopsis writing

I just want to stress that I do personally appreciate the work you're doing writing synopsis for episodes. Anyone trying to add to the 'pedia is always welcome.

However, I do want to at least reach a middle ground on this link templates subject. Frankly, I don't care if you do or don't use the link templates. It's an official style guideline for Bulbapedia, but not using them is not a bannable offense (although refusing to follow the Manual of style could be). If you insist on not using the link templates, at the very least, stop using links altogether, and add {{Synopsis cleanup}} to the synopsis sections you write. This way, not only does it save work for the people who will eventually need to go through and format the links and style, but it will add the synopsis you create to the cleanup category, so such users can more easily find and fix these articles.

I fully understand that this may seem like more work to you, and a waste of your time. But do keep in mind that you are not the only one donating your time and skills to this site; do a favor for the others who share your goals, and make everyone's job a little easier. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 03:35, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
