Capitalisation

As per the manual of style, please correct any title case capitalisations of headings which should be sentence case. (In other words, Release date not Release Date, Set size not Set Size and so on.) - 振霖T 04:52, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Can do. I think. --Pie 05:24, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Uh, headings, not article titles... but some of those should have been renamed anyway. (Move Tutor, Move Deleter and a few others... hmm, are they really generic nouns?) - 振霖T 06:01, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Aah. But I like moving articles. And... well, considering Pokémon trainer's considered a generic noun, I sort of used that as my guideline - if it's the word Pokémon, a Pokémon's name, or undeniably a proper title, it stays... otherwise, it goes. --Pie 06:03, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Snagging image

Hi! Of course I'm planning to add it, it's just that I've got a problem. When I try to upload it to bulbapedia, it says "uploading is disabled", and it doesn't let me upload it to the bulbagarden archives either. Maybe you can help me. -- Foguet 09:51, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

You're having problems uploading to the archive? Odd. Well, contact me in any way and get me the image file, and I'll be glad to upload it for you. --Pie 15:00, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Banned?

I was just looking at the different stat pictures I didn't see the preview button and I switched it back why ban me? Deoxysf.

Well, because every edit is recorded - edits add up for the top users list - and overall, it just looks sloppy and can be easily regarded as accidental vandalism. But regardless, I only mentioned that you should cut it out. If someone banned you for any reason, it wasn't me. --Pie 00:46, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Picture Help

I have the pictures for you at the section where you last visited. --Ruben Perez

Episode Redirects

I could make the episode redirects from the titles I have in my database, but continue making the variant spelling redirects. - 振霖T 05:54, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Sure thing, though you don't have to go through the trouble unless you want to - making redirects is really quick and easy, seriously. I'm surprised no one's taken the time to sit down and do this before. ^^o --Pie 05:57, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
It's trivial - I already have the database and the software to make automatic edits. I was going to get around to doing it someday, really! - 振霖T 06:23, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Suuuuure you were. =P Anyway, I'll get back to work on adding the variations after school today, assuming I don't lose all my time doing homework. --Pie 10:33, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

June 5 Minor Edits

I've marked your minor edits from June 5 as bot edits so that they won't show up on recent changes. - 振霖T 06:36, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

All right. I understand, given how many I did. ^^o --Pie 10:33, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Promotion

As a result of your hard work and dedication to Bulbapedia, you've been promoted to sysop status. You can now protect/unprotect pages, edit protected pages, and block vandals. Congratulations! --Argy 18:20, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

Thank you! =D --Pie 18:31, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

Do you need help?

Do you need help with any article, I would be happy to help you with an article. I am best at editing parts related to the Video Games or Anime, if you want me to edit any article and help you, I would be very happy to do it for you. Helping others is a good idea, as it can get changes made quicker. If you want me to help, leave a message in my talk page. Thanks I Love Minun (talk) 19:25, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

Energies.

Thanks for fixing the problem I was having :D ~Jade

No problem! =3 --Pie 23:30, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Cleanup over at Archives

Jason has made a mess of things there. Among other things, he's not tagging his images. I'm busy for the next few days, so could you clean it up and make sure he doesn't make that mistake again? Thank you so much. - 振霖T 13:48, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

I'm going to be rather busy myself - I'll help out, but you might wanna drop a line to some other people. --Pie 13:57, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
Actually, nevermind. Turns out I was able to handle it myself. ^^o Anyway, yeah, I'll keep an eye on him. --Pie 14:37, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

Reverting vandalism

A useful feature for reverting vandalism is the marking of the vandal edit and the revert as bot edits for the purposes of updating recent changes - http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&target=Vandal&bot=1. This will cause all the revert links to have a bot=1 parameter specified, which indicates that the edit and the revert should be hidden.

Okay, I reread this and now understand what you were actually saying. (Forgive me, I'm wicked tired right now.) Thanks, I'll be sure to make use of this in the future. --Pie 09:49, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Berries

Hmm, if we're sorting berries by number in the category, won't we have to make a category for each set of berries from each generation? - 振霖T 02:02, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

I was wondering about the same thing, too. One main problem is that the Generation II berries have very little information on them, so little that I can't help but wonder if they even each deserve an article for any other reason than for conformity's sake. I'm not sure whether, knowing this, to make two infoboxes for the two generations, to make small articles for the Generation II berries with no infoboxes, or even to just let all the Generation II berries stay on the Berries article. And then there's the issue that we have no idea what Generation IV will bring - it could have the same berries or completely different berries, and the information about the berries could be the same kinds or have some completely new types of information like... I have no idea, Scent or Moisture or something. So... well, I just don't know. What do you think would be best? --Pie 02:10, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Character pics upload

Hey, Pie. I created three new characters from this morning's last new Pokemon episode Pasta La Vista. They are Terry, Kyle, and Ham. Can you do me a favor? When you go to the edit thing for these characters, there's a link where the picture is. Can you upload it for me? Thanks! I created those articles myself and it took me 1 hour to do it. ~Ruben Perez

Dialga and Palkia

Where did you get these romanizations? --Argy 06:58, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

From me. I, in turn, got them from the database. - 振霖T 12:19, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Card Categories

I cleared the set categories because the whole TCG expansion sets category looked a bit of a mess. The actual expansion set articles (which are all pretty much complete now) have full card lists and a lot of general information, including links to the cards that existed in the categories I cleared, I just didn't see the point in having a (sometimes poorly named) category with a few links, wheras the articles have all of the information that were in the categories and more. I added a previous and next link template to the card articles for easier navigation too. Sorry if I caused any inconvenience, I just thought it would avoid confusion, especially now that there are 30+ TCG expansions in existence. <NK> 10:32, 1 September 2006 (BST)

Fair enough. It isn't something I would have recommended to do - some people would rather check the categories for the card's article rather than the set's article, and it only makes sense to sort the articles in their groups - but given how few card articlea we have and how many cards are out there (and how no new card articles are being added regularly), it isn't a big enough issue that I'm going to go add all the categories again and resort all the cards. If and when we do have more card articles to fill up the categories, however, expect to see the categories make a comeback - hopefully better organized this time. --Pie 22:01, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

(Jsmith 00:49, 17 September 2006 (UTC))

... uh, if you think it's so important to have those pictures specifically, then you upload them. Until then, explain what's wrong with the images that are already there. --Pie 00:51, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Useless Disambig Pages

I really don't think we need a disambigation page for every single Pokemon a main character has ever owned, however briefly. They're unnecessary anyways, since the Pokemon pages will always have a link refering readers to any Pokemon character pages for one. Secondly, doing it for minor Pokemon (IE - not Meowth and Pikachu) is just silly, seeing as how when someome types in "Raticate" into the search bar, it's more likely they want to know about the Pokemon in general rather than one random Pokemon Ash had for less than 24 hours. --Zeta 07:10, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

We've had disambig pages for minor PPP characters who don't even have articles for them for over a year. I don't see why Pokémon anime characters who have articles deserve any less. --Pie 07:12, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

To be honest, I've never really agreed with that decision, either. --Zeta 08:31, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Aaaand yet you've never cared enough to bring it up before. For crying out loud, it's just one click to help people find the information that's most relevant to what they're looking for - and just because most people in the fandom think game stats are the most important information doesn't mean that's always what everyone's looking for ever. If there's a few that people decide are truly useless, then we'll get rid of them - but overall, I don't see the point of having disambiguating names if 99.9% of them redirect to the Pokémon species article anyway. --Pie 17:45, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Faint

Thank you Pie for cleaning up the Faint article I made and making it actually... good! - Adobe

Getting more people to submit?

How do you suppose we get more people to submit stuff to Bulbapedia, or should we not try to butt in on peoples' personal lives?--Pokencyclopedia 19:59, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

I mostly just talk to my friends about it. I've shown a few of them the To-do list of Project Pokédex, and a few of them are just like, "Oh, hey, I could probably help with some of this." And if they aren't interested, I don't bother them further about it. I think being honest but polite works wonders. --Pie 20:06, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

You has right. And wrong.

I'm not stupid. Id i creats a Category, I knows that i does. I only takes Pokémon thats rare in ALL games, and only a LIMITED number of. --[[User:# Pokémon Lover King Mario|Pokémon Lover King Mario]] 16:37 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Do you know the answer?

Do you know when the create a new account not be disabled anymore? What did this problem user do? Would it be safer if the problem user would be blocked indefenitly?

(Mjackson438 14:06, 27 November 2006 (UTC))

What are TV Tokyo preview images? Why are they so ugly? This stinks thanks to one (or more) user he caused everyone to not edit the Archives? One more thing the user has been sending threatening e-mails, has that continued if they haven't maybe he has stopped. I edit Wikipedia and (MrBungle79 ~ i mainly edit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yu-Gi-Oh%21_GX_media_and_release_information) and a similar thing like this has happened with a person named http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Wikipedia_sockpuppets_of_Bobabobabo which created 86+ sockpuppetts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Interrobamf/Bobabobabo, which was who has edit warred over fair use images and Pokémon articles. Does this same familiar??
You need to warn User: Ryulong on Wikipedia about this so he/she can add it to the information on the sites above. These are all of the sock puppets that have been blocked for reason above.

Sorry to bother you, but have you talked to User: Ryulong yet to warn her/him about this?

Pokemon Attack page

Again, sorry to bother you, but should their be a seperate page like List of attacks in other languages, like the List of items in other languages? Theres a site called http://dogasu.bulbagarden.net/techniques.html, but the translations might not be 100% correct cause of its (Literal Translation). I have started added the names on some attack pages.

Hello

Hey Pie! Any reason why you are changeing the color templates for code? Also, I have a question, who should I ask to upload images? Gambler 07:07, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks! I would like to upload the type icons, do you have a copy or how can I send them to you? Gambler 07:22, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Excelent work Pie! Thanks a lot girl. By the way, anything you want to reformat, just tell me and I'll be happy to help. Gambler 08:38, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
So? I remove them? Because I think it looks great this way. But I might be wrong too. Anyway, I was trying to make the move pages less dull.Gambler 05:42, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, about vertical stretchiness, as more generations are added the bullet list will be even more than the table. What do you think if I remove the name and leave the image and instead add a link to the Moveset part of each generation in that Pokemon page? And about the 0s and -s I thought about adding a note in the template. Why I'm trying to say is that a - means that the PKMN was either not in that generation or that PKMN didn't had it. And the 0 means that it has that move always when hatched.Gambler 06:03, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Fine, I'll take the pictures out. But can I continue doing the tables? Gambler 08:25, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
But that goes in the part of effects, not in the Learnsets. I mean, I'm only joining if it learns it or not, the effects are not being modified. The name is the same trough the Generations. Gambler 08:30, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Sorry Pie, won't happen again. Gambler 08:44, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Yep, tell me if I can be of any help. Gambler 08:55, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Archives

I understand that now. Vandals apparently have nothing better to do than try to destroy other people's works...lowlifes. I know them too well because I'm a member of a wiki that seems to be a real vandal favorite. Thankfully the attacks on that wiki have stopped after summer.

Anyway... The site called Video Game Maps has a lot of maps, and I think we can use them under fair use license because the maing page of the site says "All directly "ripped" game images are the property of their respective copyright holders.".

Just thought that it'd be useful. I do have a paper version of Pokémon Crystal guide, but I'm unable to locate it right now. And I also own Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen guide. It was a bit expensive...but now that was off-topic. =P --Cipher Admin Ein (Talk with Master Ein) (Ein Files) 23:53, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

That's what I thought when I found that site a long time ago. I've been personally wanting for some time to see pictures on articles like Ilex Forest because a human's memory is limited. And mine is more limited. But I'm glad to see that those maps can have good use here. :) --Cipher Admin Ein (Talk with Master Ein) (Ein Files) 00:13, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

User tags

I'm sorry! I forgot it! I was putting Legendary Pokémon as representatives (well, almost all) and I forgot Bulbasaur... --Taylor 23:52, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

I put the leaders because we don't have Team Galaxy Logo (a golden G). --Taylor 03:52, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Sorry. I don't have DP breeders. If you have, upload them ^^ --Taylor, 01:29, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Requesting game tags for Ranger, Colosseum, and Mystery Dungeon, please. I made XD, but I'm not good enough with digital colors and images to do more. I don't think we need tags for other games like Trozei and Channel because they can't be connected with other games and players (Ranger is a stretch, but there's the Manaphy egg.); however, if you want to make a tag for every spin-off game, I won't stop you. ^^; --Argy 03:47, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Sure. Lemme just finish putting up the DP trainer sprites which can be named by existing classes. (And I'm definitely making something for Snap at least. X3) --Pie 03:49, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Silph Co. in Anime?

According to the page Silph Co., it says that it never appeared in the anime. But I remember that in the episode Abra and the Psychic Pokémon, didn't Musashi and Koujiru trapped Satoshi-tachi in a room with teleport tiles on the floor?

No confirmation about that building being Silph Co., but it's at least probably a reference to it. Feel free to note such on the page. --a sick Pie 22:14, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
