Just a few things to do, eh(!)?

I'm in the process of writing up the merchandise articles on Platinum, I assume you're doing the HeartGold & SoulSilver ones at the moment. I have a lot of old boosters and theme decks, so writing the descriptions for the early expansions won't be a problem.

With regards to the holofoil naming convention, I've been planning an article for it for a long time. Are the official names from the TCGO, as I've never come across them in any other media?

I'll keep an eye out for the smaller ad hoc stuff as I'm going, though if there is anything specific other than what I've already mentioned, let me know. ~~nuva-kal 11:43, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for getting Platinum. These merchandise articles are rather draining in terms of research, images, and making sure everything is there. We are missing about 10 products from the HeartGold & SoulSilver Series currently, so I'm just having completion issues with each one of these pages. I'm really apprehensive about just copy/pasting from our old merchandise articles, as I don't think they are as accurate as necessary with current standards of the internet. I recently took a picture of the Happiny/Lopunny blister from Arceus, so alert me when you are about finished and I can get it edited and uploaded.
As for Holofoil names...many of them are official from the PTCGO and other sources (from people who work at Pokémon and such). Others, however, I worked together with Claire from collectorviper in order to name. Many of them are going to be fanmade, yet descriptive, and it is something that Claire and I are hoping to have consistently named among all the big sites online. I also have big plans for the Holofoil article, but there are certainly additional things we should finish before we get to that, such as writing out release information sections for all the promotional cards, making sure we have the additional lists added for each expansion page, and adding the promotional cards to the wiki that fell through the cracks. I want these done beforehand so that the massive Holofoil project can be finished in one gigantic swing, instead of having to go back and forth between that and getting more information.
Just, whatever you feel like doing, make it happen! I don't really have anything for you to do in mind...I really don't even know what I want to get done. I wasn't expecting to be doing the interwiki links this month, but for some reason, it's just the thing to be doing. As long as something happens, I'm happy. MaverickNate 18:44, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
The Platinum article is in my userspace. Feel free to add images/change filenames and whatnot. I think it covers everything, apart from the Worlds 2009 decks, which I'll add later. I've had a quick look for some theme deck images, but can't seem to source any good ones. I've only been able to find one sellsheet as well. Onto Diamond & Pearl next... ~~nuva-kal 20:41, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

Here's a some kind of table for move (and Ability?) articles. I just wonder if it should have a column that tells whether it is an attack/Pokémon Power/Poké-Power etc, or should we just add a note if it's not an attack.--Den Zen 13:44, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

I think I'll look into these 2 "Research Jumbo Promos and create page for them", "Research all League promos and determine dates of release" for now, I don't want to take on too much stuff right away. And I think these will take up a fair amount of work to begin with. Since I don't own most of these cards I wouldn't be able to provide pictures, but I can still figure out which ones were released. How do you decide if a list is complete? I mean I can probably figure it out myself, but there is always a chance I missed one. Ow and since these will require new pages, how do I make them? I read somewere I should make it in my personal page, but I'm not sure on how to do that or were to find instructions on how to do so. Donkey-er (talk) 11:32, 1 July 2014 (UTC)

Okay I made a start on the oversized cards, please have a look at it since I got a bunch of problems working with the wikia system. the startup can be found here, thanks in advance.Donkey-er (talk) 12:49, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
