Welcome to Bulbapedia, Choroneko1234!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

 • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
 • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
 • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
 • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
 • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
 • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
 • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite.
 • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
 • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Glitch Pokémon

Just so you know, unless the page specifies otherwise, glitch Pokémon are not included in the lists. The lists are generally reserved for real Pokémon. Werdnae (talk) 02:13, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

Signing on the User Page

You don't need to sign your User Page. It is only meant for personal stuff and the only time people can edit your User Page is if their correcting a spelling error or fixing a broken link, so you don't need to sign it. Pokedex493 23:56, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Spelling errors on someone else's user page should never be corrected. Some users want the misspellings. Just broken links. Werdnae (talk) 23:59, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

A couple things about your userpage, if you want to make it prettier

Hi Choroneko1234,

I just have a couple of tips for you regarding your userpage that will make it neater and prettier. Please consider them, as your page will then "fit in" a bit more with Bulbapedia, and you hopefully won't have two or three users on your case about it.

 • First, like Pokedex493 mentioned, signatures usually don't go on the userpage. Your name and a timestamp are recorded in the edit history so that people curious about when you edited the page can read it and find out, but most people don't need to know that. Also, if a lot of pages had signatures on them, the pages with a ton of edits on them would have so many signatures that 503s would start showing up a bit more often as the server has to load the fancy signatures every time a visitor wants to view the page.
 • Second, I noticed you stated your favorite Pokémon and your Battle Rev friend code. That's fine the way you did it, but you could make it a bit prettier.

Right now you have it like this:

Hi! My favorite Pokemon are Choroneko, Yorterry, Hitomoshi and Mew.
My Pokemon Battle Revolution friend code is: 4210-9317-3927

That's fine, and I totally get it if you want to keep it that way. What most users have, though, is something along the lines of:

<div class="userbox">
509
506
607
151
4210 9317 3927
(Add more usertags here)
</div>
(Add your userpage content here)

That code alone, adding more usertags and your main userpage content in those places, would clean your page up by moving everything to the right-hand side of the page, categorize your userpage along with a bunch of others that used those usertags, and also make it easier for other users to learn a bit more about you by putting your info up in a way that we are familiar with.

If you don't want to go exploring the usertag database (which you should, as there's a whole lot of cool stuff in there), you should at least change the links from Mew to Mew or Mew. Although the staff have been running around fixing these kinds of things, it would still be nice to go directly to the page instead of having to worry about a redirect, or worse, a disambiguation.

If you need any help with this kind of stuff, let me know and I'd be more than happy to help you out. chiefboz (my talk and contributions) 00:37, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
