Hi

I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot today. You may not be aware of this, but Bulbapedia has a Userspace policy that asks users to try and minimize the number of userspace edits they make in a short period of time. Instead of making multiple edits, why not use the Preview button (Alt + Shift + P) located right next to the edit button to look at your page and see how it is coming? That way, your page can look great while staying within the required amount of edits. Instead of editing the userspace, as a wiki, we encourage users to edit the mainspace. So, if you edit the mainspace more often, you will be allowed to edit the userspace more. Thanks! --►Ҝəυzø8 14:44, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, editing done for today

Ok, sorry about that, it's just I had already started something quite big, so I finished that and that will be all for today on my page. I had already read it though, just so you know.

Your signature must reflect your username in some way, as per the Signature policy. Right now, it simply reads "[center][url=http://www.ginomegelati.de?page=adoption&sprache=2] [img]http://www.ginomegelati.com/animierte/448.gif[/img][/url]". Please change it. OK, but what do i do to this ginomegelati thingy? Do I delete it? If I tell you what I want my signiture to say, could you possibly make it for me? You don't have to, but if you like you can... I think I just got confused with forums and wikis. In forums, you don't have a signature at first, but in wiki's you have to edit it. I think it was just that confusion that led me into saying "I dont have a signature". Also, how do I get the 'talk' bit in and make it smaller? It looks even harder than the actual signature itself! Whats a Mainspace contribution? Is that something to do with the actual bulbapedia site? I think I have kind of done that... I created the Epic Collection (TCG) page. Does that count? I did it today. It's not much, but still...Ben Tennyson' (talk) 19:01, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

A Mainspace contribtion is an edit to any page that does not have a suffix in front of it. (Example: Not Template:, Bulbapedia:, User:, Talk:, etc.) --Theryguy512 19:05, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
As in, yes Epic Collection is in fact as mainspace contrib. But one's not enough. Take it from the guy who has more than 20,000. Also, when you make them, categorize them.
And by "forum signature", I mean "[center][url=http://www.ginomegelati.de?page=adoption&sprache=2] [img]http://www.ginomegelati.com/animierte/448.gif[/img][/url]". Those are forum parser tags, and they don't work at all on a wiki. Not that images are allowed in signatures here anyway. Just text. TTEchidna 19:14, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for telling me. The reason why I was confused is because I didn't put it there! Anyway, The Epic Collection I created was from that category with pages that need to be written. I'm looking at them at a daily basis now, so if one comes up that I can do, I'll try to make it. Also, Theryguy, you put "any page that does not have a suffix in front of it", and then said "Example: Not Template, etc." How can "Template" not be a page that doesn't have a suffix in front of it? Okay, well let's say a page is called Template:Example. If you editted that page, it would not count as an edit, due to the fact that there is a suffix (Template:) before the page name. --Theryguy512 20:39, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
