By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Pokemon Go trivia

All the trivia you placed on the Pokémon Go article are unnotable. So what if it's based off Ingress and the Google Maps thing? If naything, it would go into the development section. The game using XY models are expected, seeing as ORAS also used the XY models.--ForceFire 12:05, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

Talk page responses

When you want to add a new topic/question to a talk page, please use the "+" button/link at the top of the page (just to the right of "edit this page"). This will automatically separate your question from others properly; a simple dividing line is not the proper format. Thanks. Tiddlywinks (talk) 16:25, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

Edit?

Can you explain this edit please? MannedTooth (Talk) 18:37, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

Sorry, I just Don't understand what "this pokemon's" mean - unsigned comment from Awesomevenustoise101 (talkcontribs)
Basically, it specify which card/Pokémon the card is talking about, and this time, it was about itself, so the template "tt" allows the text to remain "Misty's Psyduck" for example but if you over your mouse on it, it will say "this Pokémon". MannedTooth (Talk) 18:44, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
Oh, and just because you don't understand something doesn't mean that you should just remove it, it was probably put there for a reason, ask. :P MannedTooth (Talk) 18:48, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

Ok, I will ask next time, also what does "This Pokemon's mean?"- unsigned comment from Awesomevenustoise101 (talkcontribs)

Thank you, and if you still don't understand what it means, try it yourself, go on Misty's Psyduck (Gym Challenge 90) and put your mouse on any instance of the words "Misty's Psyduck". You should understand pretty fast. Also, don't forget to sign your comments on user talk pages by using four tildes (~) at the end of your message. :) MannedTooth (Talk) 18:54, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

Talk page replies

(Please click "edit" to look at the formatting of this post to see what I'm talking about.) I just wanted to give you a heads-up that if you add a talk page comment on a new line, it will join up with the previous line unless you add a blank line in between them.

For example, every phrase of the previous paragraph was on a separate line. Then I added a blank line before this paragraph.

And if you're responding to someone, the typical method on wiki talk pages is to indent your line with : at the beginning of it.

For example, like this.
You can use more than one as well.
You don't even need to add a blank line in between; the : will separate the lines for you.
But if you want, you can still use a blank line anyway. It doesn't make a difference when you're using : to indent.

But remember that when you go back to unindented paragraphs, you need to separate paragraphs with a blank line between them.

Thanks for your consideration. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 17:31, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
