The event held during October 30 − November 5, 2023 was Halloween 2023 — Double Candy Research. The location was limited to Greengrass Isle and it introduces Pikachu wearing a Halloween hat, Shuppet, and Banette to the game. On October 30, on which the Halloween event and the Good Sleep Day event overlap, effects from both events were applied.
During the event a remix of the Lavender Town theme from the main series games played on Greengrass Island and the tent was covered in lights with pumpkins, including some in Pikachu and Poké Ball shapes, decorating the campsite.
