Unknown Barrens is one of the Magnagate dungeons in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. It has 6 floors. This dungeon is only accessible through the "Discover a Magnagate" feature in the main menu of the game. The player can only enter this dungeon with two to four of five predetermined Pokémon instead of members from their own team. Poké and items found in this dungeon are sent to the Deposit Box after clearing the dungeon.

When first discovering this dungeon, the player is sent in with two to four of the following Pokémon, chosen at random. When entering the dungeon for the second and subsequent times, the player is given the option to choose which of these Pokémon they play as, and is given one to three teammates from the remaining four at random.
