Goh caught Lilligant off-screen during a trip to Unova prior to Suffering the Flings and Arrows!. When Goh introduced her to his other Pokémon, they were all soothed and charmed by Lilligant's Sweet Scent, with Heracross becoming smitten by her, which caused Pinsir, who had a crush on Heracross, distraught. When Lilligant's path was blocked by a boulder, Heracross used his sheer strength to destroy it, making Lilligant quite grateful, still unaware of Heracross's crush on her.
During Big Brother to the Rescue!, Lilligant was seen walking around Cerise Park with Gossifleur, where her sweet aroma once again caught Heracross's attention, much to Pinsir's dismay, although Lilligant remained oblivious to Heracross following her around. However, Yamper and Panpour quickly helped snap Heracross out of his enamored trance with Panpour's Water Gun.
Lilligant is a sweet and friendly Pokémon, happily accepting the welcoming that Goh's other Pokémon had given her. Lilligant also seems unaware that her natural sweet aroma causes others to become rather smitten by her, as Heracross's continuous attempts to flirt with her went unnoticed by Lilligant, who merely assumed Heracross was just being friendly.
She is also quite graceous and elegant, bowing down to the other Pokémon at Cerise Park as part of her introduction. Lilligant seems to have formed a friendship with Goh's Gossifleur as both of them were happily walking together across Cerise Park.
