Order by National Pokédex?

In game, the Pokemon are presented in National Pokedex order, with Sizcor being in Scyther's position and the player's favorite Pokemon moved to the first of the list. (Also, Pokemon which the player can use are presented before Pokemon that the player cannot use.) As such, it may be reasonable for this nav box to do the same and order the Pokèmon by National Dex order within their roles. (I do not necessarily want to see a change occur, but I do feel that it merits discussion. Alphabet is more useful, but Nat Dex matches the game. Either works, but which is better for Bulbapedia?) While I do like the idea of NDex ordering, the game lists all mons together, while this template splits them up by their categories. So it's not directly following the in-game order either. → Pika Tepig 999 21:04, 4 December 2023 (UTC)

I don't think a list of Pokémon names in NDex order is an easy thing to navigate. I think I rather argued the other day that the List of article be reordered to alphabetically. Nescientist (talk) 21:50, 4 December 2023 (UTC)

The list page works better in NDex order, most people are used to that. I've also suggested making the List page sortable, so that would be better as each reader could sort it their way. → Pika Tepig 999 21:54, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
