Something's messed up

I don't know how or what, but something is messed up with this. It doesn't show excalamation marks at the top where the English title goes... for example, A Huge Mysterious Tree!! shows as "A Huge Mysterious Tree" with no exclamation points. Furthermore, if you check out Something Happened!! Let's Go After Pikachu!!, it looks really messed up. I don't know if this is a problem caused by me using Safari or if it's the template itself but it looks ugly, if someone better at wikicode than me can look at it that would be awesome. ;___; --ZestyCactus 00:20, 24 September 2012 (UTC)

I see it too. Yet, I'm not using Safari. PattyMan 01:40, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
I put a temporary fix in place for the moment using the nowiki tag for PMRS03, but it will hopefully be fixed soon. (It looks like it is taking the exclamation marks as the end of a title or something) Super goku (talk) 03:11, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
Double exclamation marks are wikicode for "start a new centered and bolded table cell", for if you don't want to put each cell on a separate line. Any double exclamation marks will cause the same bug in any infobox. Nowiki tags are the only way to prevent that. Werdnae (talk) 04:07, 24 September 2012 (UTC)

Protect

Can I ask this to be protected, as it's a high-traffic template? Thanks. — Reshi643 20:56, 18 July 2013 (UTC)

Done. --Pokemaster97 03:28, 19 July 2013 (UTC)

"First published in"

Since most manga is serialized in magazines before being collected into books, I think it would be useful to have this information in the infobox (along with release date, when available).

For example, the third chapter of Dengeki Pikachu was originally published in the August 1997 issue of Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic Special, which was released on 30 June 1997.

While this information can be presented in the opening blurb, I think it's the kind of "at a glance"/"fast facts" information that would be better suited here.

Is this something that could be incorporated? Thanks. --Pengi (talk) 18:07, 4 November 2020 (UTC)

Would this apply to many chapters of manga that we have? Or would it just be the Electric Tales of Pikachu chapters? --Spriteit (talk) 00:44, 23 November 2020 (UTC)

Color contrast

Could someone place a {{{titlecolor}}} parameter on the row with {{{title_en}}}? Sometimes the background is way too dark for the black text. — Lakelimbo (talk) 00:09, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
