Shouldn't we incorporate this category into this template? ht14 04:04, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Done. I took the liberty of removing the hardcoded instances of the category on the pages too. There goes thirteen minutes of my life I'll never get back :P —darklordtrom 11:32, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

PMD

Abilities have description in Mystery Dungeon series. For example, Blaze says Boosts the power of Fire-type moves when HP is low. in Rescue and Boosts the power of the Pokémon's Fire-type moves when its HP is low. (in Explorers). Why not add field for these games? Marked +-+-+ (talk) 09:52, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

Color

Just for curiousity; why these Infobox contain a color command? According to my friend, Abilities don't have a Type, so he think a color isn't needed. So I've decided to ask about reason Abilities have a type (or stat) color. I'll be grateful for answer. -- Modikisha (talk)

Duplicate Entries

I noticed that many generations preserve the flavor text of abilities from previous generations. Would it be feasible to combine these, and put the header for every generation that uses the same flavor text on one line? That would make it cleaner, and anything to reduce the overall size of infoboxes improves mobile-friendliness. -- ChasePikachu (talk)

Categorizing

This template should have a {{{cat}}} parameter, and for three reasons:

  • The template {{AbilityInfoboxNoncat}} was last updated for Generation V, but it's Generation VIII already.
  • Other templates, such as {{Stats}}, already have this parameter.
  • Someone added this template to the sandbox, causing the page to be categorized as an Ability.
