English Name

As mentioned in the February issue of Nintendo Power (Bulbanews article pending), the Live Caster is in English the Xtransciver. This page should be moved to Xtransceiver due to this. --Nathan2055 21:28, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Spelling

WAIT. I thought it was Xtransceiver. --Maxim 17:05, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

That makes more sense. ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 17:29, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
That's correct. Also, the Bulbanews article was deleted (apparently they already have that info, even though there is no news story). --Nathan2055 21:25, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Image

The text "in Current Town's Battle Club computer." pushes into the image of Ash contacting Shooti through the computer. I have tried to fix it by putting in a break between that paragraph and the image, but it didn't work (had to revert back). --Nathan2055talk 17:42, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

It looks correct now. --Nathan2055talk 23:33, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

Needs disambiguation page

While looking for Professor Oak's Live Caster (formerly, Professor Oak's lecture), I've searched for "Live Caster" and ended up here, having no redirect link to there. Maybe it would help if anyone create a disambiguation page with the link to Professor Oak's and add it here. But I don't know exactly how to do it. --Blow (話す) 02:05, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

I've added a line about it in the anime section, how's that? Bluesun 02:22, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
I think it's better than a disambiguation page. I tried to improve it a little. --Blow (話す) 03:00, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
I don't see anything in the anime section. --Nathan2055talk 23:32, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
Actually, HoennMaster have put it into a search-teamplate in the top of the page. It was my first thought (that's what I meant by redirect link), but I didn't know how to do that. Yet, I miss the anime reference. I'll try something, if anyone disagree, feel free to remove. --Blow (話す) 13:28, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
Ah, it only appears when going to "Live Caster". It looks great! --Nathan2055talk 17:38, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
Someone added the link if you go to the Xtransceiver page. With the dub coming up, that makes since. Thank you! --Nathan2055talk 17:51, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

(Cross)transceiver

Should we mention that the Xtransceiver is pronounced cross transceiver? —Mada-sama (Talk to me!)— 09:25, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

How do we know that? --SnorlaxMonster 11:08, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
Nintendo Power. --HoennMaster 16:36, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
They don't mention how to say it. They just say "Xtransceiver". If you could mention which issue and page it is, I'll look it up. --Nathan2055talk 23:28, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
I actually haven't read it yet, but everyone on the internet is saying it was said in the February 2011 edition. --HoennMaster 01:28, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
No, I have a copy (and attempted to post the info to Bulbanews, was deleted strangely) and it only says "Xtransceiver". It does not say anything about "Crosstransceiver". --Nathan2055talk 17:35, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

3DS usage?

Is it possible that the Xtransceiver will be compatible with the 3DS?PokemonRocks 18:21, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

It will probably work the same as it does on the DSi. --Nathan2055talk 22:28, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Anime

Which screen, in the anime, shows the person who is the caller/owner?-Sam - unsigned comment from Sambam124 (talkcontribs)

Just one screen. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 01:36, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
But what about the red one on the drawings on the article? Sambam124 00:12, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
The side panel shoes you. --SnorlaxMonster 10:52, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Correction?

It says in the article that it "lets the player contact other Trainers", when it only lets them contact the player- so it must be referring to the wireless function, which has it's own mini-section anyway. I think, in order to prevent confusion, it should be changed. Unless there is a way to use it to contact Cheren, Bianca etc that I am unaware of. Questioner 18:56, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
