Intro
I noticed that my previous edit that mentioned that this move was a Special version of Mach Punch was removed. Personally, I feel that it should stay. We already have a precedent set for these types of statements on pages such as Horn Leech or Crunch. I fail to see how this situation is any different.
In my opinion, too much information is better than not enough, especially for something as minor and harmless as this. -ImNotGoodAtPasswords (talk) 06:29, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
- You've cited the only three pages I know of that do this (and I've gone ahead and fixed the other two). For every other page on the wiki, the move variations template is sufficient. We don't even go out of our way to note Hyper Beam/Giga Impact which are perhaps the most prominent/noticeable variations in existence. Looking at the wiki as a whole rather than just cherry-picked examples, the precedent is more strongly in favor of not including variations in the lede, with only scattered exceptions that have slipped through the cracks.
