UPDATE: This is series 1: [2]

there seem to be at least 2 chrome series: [3] and since in series 2 from the picture there is a moltres, maybe the two series have the first 151 pokèmonm in fact I only have seen creatures chrome cards so far. Some information on series 2 chrome: Each pack contains 5 Topps Pokemon cards. Collect all 73 new Series 2 Chrome Cards. Look for the following exciting insert cards: Spectra-Chrome(1:2) Sparkle-Chrome(1:10) Tekno-Chrome(1:15)

More info from an ebay auction: These cards are from the Topps TV Animation Edition, Chrome Series 1, which Topps issued in 2000 as an enhanced continuation of the earlier Topps TV Animation Edition (Series 1, 2, and 3). The Chrome TV Animation Edition cards were issued in two series (Series 1 and Series 2), with Chrome Series I containing containing Pokemon characters 1-78, and Chrome Series 2 containing Pokemon characters 79-151. All basic Chrome cards were printed on heavy (almost 3-dimensional) card stock using a patented finish called "Holochrome" (which is very shiny is "chromium-like" in appearance). Unlike the regular TV Animation Series 1, 2, or 3, the Chrome sets did not include parallel foil cards, episode or heroes and villains cards, or special chase cards, such as puzzle, die-cut, sticker, or clear cards. The Pokemon Chrome boxes did include three types of highly "refractive" parallel inserts, including Spectra-Chrome, Sparkle-Chrome, and Tekno-Chrome, some of which are extremely rare. As stated above, this set does not include any of the special parallel insert cards. Chloro (talk) 22:44, 23 July 2013 (UTC)

there also seems to a johto 3rd series (apart from the picture I had seen it talked about somewhere else: [4] And also the question of the big cards from the tin boxes: [5] Still I have non way to have correct information on any of this. Chloro (talk) 16:18, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

I don't know why those say "series 3", but the other images that person posted with the image of that pack (23/05/2001) are apparently from the "series 1" set. I think perhaps there is no Johto series 3. Tiddlywinks (talk) 09:46, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
