By same type, what does it mean?
For example, would a Symbolar using this move damage only a Xatu and Lugia on the field, as well as itself, or would it damage Girafarig and Chatot as well? TTEchidna 07:31, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

- Well, it's taken a while for me to figure this out; but a Sigilyph using Synchronoise will hit any Pokémon that is either part-Psychic or part-Flying. TheChrisD Rants•Edits 11:14, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
Umbreon

- What about if, in a double/triple battle, Miracle Eye is used on Umbreon's target by its partner (eg. Kadabra), which allows it to be hit by Psychic-type moves? Will Synchro Noise do damage then? H4r8z0r 04:36, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Wrongly Categorised?
I feel I should ask here since I've never encountered this ingame, But the article seems to suggest that it shouldn't be classified under swipe moves as it only hits once. Can someone confirm this for me? ContraOmega 20:33, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
It's Super Effective!
Kecleon can only deal super effective damage with this attack if it's currently either a poison or fighting type and it uses the attack against a Pokémon that doesn't have a second type resistant to psychic attacks. Beyond that, the only Pokémon that can take super effective damage from this attack are the Zubat family (if used by one of the flying types), the Tentacool family, Qwilfish, Poliwrath and Keldeo (if used by a member of the Psyduck family or Vaporeon) Meloetta in its pirouette form (if used by one of the normal types) Bulbasaur, Oddish, Bellsprout, Roselia and Foongus families as well as Virizion (if used by Leafeon) and Combuskin, Monferno and Pignite and their higher evolutions (if used by Flareon). I don't know if it's worth including on the page that only 30 Pokémon total can take super effective damage from synchronoise excluding its use by Kecleon, but even if not it's a fun fact. - Well, Smeargle can sketch Conversion/Conversion 2 and Synchronoise, which means it's capable of becoming any type in a more reliable manner. More than that, Conversion can be Snatched. But let's take Smeargle out of it. Others can also learn Snatch, including, for instance, Hypno, which also learns Synchronoise. And Snatch also works on Reflect Type, which copies the opponent's type. This gives the potential for many more pokemon to, through various steps, get type combinations that allow them to hit various poison or fighting type pokemon that are dual type. It's also possible, for instance, for an opponent Starmie to use Reflect Type on, say, your Crobat, and then for your Sigilyph to use Synchronoise against it. There's a few other ways, too. Also note the case of Gallade, who can learn it as an egg move, and can hit any Fighting type with it - indeed, I believe it may be the only pokemon that is naturally able to use this move and simultaneously get STAB and a supereffective hit out of it against a pokemon (naturally, as in, without requiring abilities or additional moves along the way - Smeargle could Reflect Type a Gallade or Medicham, then use it, but that's not a "natural" case of it). This trivia need checking
- Kecleon is the only Pokémon that can potentially use this move against any type, due to its abilty Color Change.
This should be right, but I dont know if any of the other Pokemon listed can change their type by using a ridiculously long chain of events, like Skill Swap, Soak, ect, in which case it will need rewording. Vuvuzela2010⚡ 16:20, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
