High res art

I found a higher quality image of sinistea, but I can’t figure out how to change the current image to that one. I uploaded the higher quality one to the archives. MrFeeds (talk) 17:10, 19 December 2019 (UTC)

Normally, you would upload the new image under the name 854Sinistea.png to save over the current one, but if it's already up, then you just replace the file name on this page with the name of the file you uploaded. At some point, it may even be moved to 854Sinistea.png, since that's the one bots use to fill in certain articles/sections. Pallukun (talk) 17:38, 19 December 2019 (UTC)

Breeding

How does breeding work with Sinistea and Polteageist? What form hatches from an egg, Antique or Phony? Is it inherited or randomized? Alolan Ninetales (talk) 04:45, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

It's ecologically similar to Sinischa, not Polteageist

The fact that the evolutions are inverted should not influence this judgment. - unsigned comment from Dr. Victor Vasconcelos (talkcontribs)

The phrasing "It is ecologically similar to Poltchageist" is lifted directly from the official website in this instance. -Minibug (talk) 12:28, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
Oh, wow. That's sad. I mean, now that I think about it, it makes sense, but it sort of invalidates the whole previous meaning of "ecologically similar" in Pokémon. Ecologically similar species are those that have similar ecological niches, not necessarily similar phenotypes. They can be phenotypically similar, especially if they are phenotypically analogous, but this is not a requirement for ecological similarity. Likewise, they can be phenotypically different, even if they are closely related, but this does not preclude ecological similarity. Many "ecologically similar" Pokémon don't really fit this description. Anyway, thanks for the answer. Dr. Victor Vasconcelos (talk) 12:57, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
Yep, this is touched on in the Origin section. Landfish7 14:03, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
Of the Paradox Pokémon page, that is. Landfish7 14:04, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
Return to "Sinistea (Pokémon)" page.
