punch?

Since in Japan it is called "Strike", everytime in the anime when they use it, it is a punching move. Could that be considered trivia knowing that a "pound" isn't a punch at all. Or have I known the wrong thing this entire time and pound is a punch. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I wanted to be sure before adding this to the article. -- Landfish7 21:33, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Well, to pound something you typically ball your hand up in a fist and slam down. It's just the name of the move, and no, Hitmonchan doesn't get a boost. TTEchidna 22:07, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
LOL I wasnt going to say that. Anywayz, Sorry, I always though that "pounding" something was to "slam" down on it (technically it is but with ur hand apparently). -- Landfish7 22:24, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Move image replacement

How about this? Turtwig Lover 08:24, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

That's much better. Would you like to crop and replace it or would you like me to do it? たかはり 08:26, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
There's another image that's the same thing but cropped; I can't use it. --Turtwig Lover 08:33, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
Done. I'll do Growl too. たかはり 08:35, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
I can't overwrite images. Also, somehow the image displayed here is squashed. --Turtwig Lover 08:38, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Dutch translations?

How did Bulbapedia get the Dutch translations of all of the moves? There aren't any Dutch Pokémon games and Bulbapedia can't just translate these moves by itself! (I placed this on the Pound talkpage because it is the first move...) Nickvang (talk) 20:25, 11 December 2012 (UTC)

Or can we translate the moves by ourself? In that case I should correct some mistranslations... Nickvang (talk) 20:30, 11 December 2012 (UTC)
Return to "Pound (move)" page.
