Redirect Pokémon in Iran and Iran to here or not?

While having a Caesaropapism and Fundamentalism government, Iran does also have their own Arabic dialect, at least at southwest of that. If there are war-zone countries like Syria and Iraq, can redirect here, it looks like really unfair that Iran can't be so. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 05:45, 17 June 2023 (UTC)

Arabic is a minority and liturgical language in Iran. Iran speaks Persian (Farsi) first and foremost. Also, it's all a matter of whether Pokémon has been available in Iran. As far as I know, the Pokémon anime has never been dubbed to Persian or broadcasted by any Iranian TV station in any language. The availability of other Pokémon materials in Iran may be a matter of interesting research but still, it's not something that should be covered on this page. Iran is a Muslim country but its main language is Persian, they have a culture very separate from Arabic-speaking countries and mostly don't like to be called "Arab" (which they see as Western ignorance). --Maxim (talk) 06:08, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
