What

How do you know where what items are? I thought we have yet to break into 3DS's coding... Uploader (talk) 13:58, 1 November 2013 (UTC)

This is from the PGL. And people kinda have gotten into the 3DS's coding: we know what the Generation VI Pokémon data structure is, and it's virtually the same as the Gen IV and V ones (it also uses the same encryption method). --SnorlaxMonster 14:03, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
So wait, the old items are still seriously in there? (Also, the Genesect drives and such... well we need to wait for Bank. Technically, some people already figured out the places because of NPC mentioning stuff.) Uploader (talk) 14:05, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
Key items, I can't prove; PGL only has holdable items, so that's why all the key items are hidden. Old Mulch, Mail, and Drives don't appear, which is odd only in the case of Drives. --SnorlaxMonster 14:07, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
Oh, and the Park Ball, Dream Ball, HGSS-exclusive Balls, and Pass Orb aren't there either. --SnorlaxMonster 14:09, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
And no Mega Stones. I think that's a very important omission. --SnorlaxMonster 14:54, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
Project Pokémon has Mega Stones, so I've added those now. --SnorlaxMonster 05:59, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

Common Stone, Travel Trunk, Mega Glove/Charm?

What are these (well, obviously we know what the last two are, but the other two) and how do we know they exist? I can't find anything on Google. Yamiidenryuu (talk) 16:58, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

Kaphotics discovered them in the game. I have no idea what they are, but I would guess they may be event items. --SnorlaxMonster 08:39, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
They could, of course, just be items that didn't manage to make it into the final game in their originally conceived purposes. The only way to know which is to wait. Tiddlywinks (talk) 14:05, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
I've listed all descriptions in my free app, so you could refer to them for more information SlorlaxMonster https://sites.google.com/site/pingsdex/pingspokedex/en_us :-) ---Ping 22:09, 26 April 2014 (UTC)

Hexes

There seems to be some discrepancies regarding the hexes of some of the items. Most of them are listed as 0x0[NUMBER], while some scattered items along with everything from numbers 656 to 717 are listed as 0x[NUMBER]. I'm not very fluent in these kinds of things, so I'm wondering if this is simply a mistake. --KommanderAwesome (talk) 20:50, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

That looks to me like someone neglected to add some leading zeroes. Probably a mistake. Yamiidenryuu (talk) 00:14, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, don't know why that was missing. I've put the zero padding in. --SnorlaxMonster 05:21, 2 August 2014 (UTC)

Orbs

In XY, what sprites do the Red/Blue Orb use, and what Bag pocket are they in? I imagine they would use their Gen IV sprites and be key items. --SnorlaxMonster 08:53, 31 December 2014 (UTC)

Key Stone and its various NPC accessories

I think it's very possible/likely that the Key Stone and the Mega Glove, Mega Pin, and other NPC accessories don't have any bag sprite at all. I think we should change their images on this list from "unknown" to "none". (Or, if those items actually do display that unknown icon, then we can just remove the incomplete template.) Does anyone else agree, or can anyone confirm? Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:47, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
