Redirect --> Disambig

This is going to need to become a disambiguation page in light of the new type. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 15:59, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

  • Now it's a redirect, but to the type. Either it should be made a disambig again or Poison should be similarly changed. TorchicBlaziken (talkedits) 21:42, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
Not just Poison, but Flying, Bug, Grass, Water, and Dragon would all have to be changed. I think it would be easier to just turn "Fairy" into a disambig page. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 14:57, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
It's temporarily like this as a lot of people are going to be looking up the page. It's not necessarily something I think is best, but that's the reasoning behind it. --SnorlaxMonster 15:08, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
Okay, that much is fair, for the time being. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 01:25, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

Redirect

Seeing as Fairy relates to an egg group, a type, and even a typing in the TCG and an Energy card  , wouldn't it be wise to make this a disambig page instead of a Fairy (type) redirect? --The Truth aka Relicant 13:21, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

This seems to be the same situation as Dragon, which is a disambig rather than a redirect to Dragon (type). (Though Dragon does have a handful of extra pages, none of them seem to be significant enough to me to be the difference between a redirect and a disambig.) Based on precedent, I'd agree with you. If we choose to go against precedent, someone needs to give a good reason. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 18:19, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
The above conversation and the history of the redirect explain that it's a temporary measure. It will become a disambig when the staff feel the Fairy type itself is no longer the most important instance of the redirect's use. Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 18:28, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation time?

since XY have been out for a few months now, could this page be turned into a disambig? --The Truth aka Relicant 15:42, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

Return to "Fairy" page.
