should the dungeons in the Mystery Dungeon series that are caves be on this list. Turtwig A Contributions Talk 21:54, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

Well...they're caves aren't they?(well, some of them, anyways...)I think it's a good idea.--Dark ICE (User:Cold)(page, talk) 21:58, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
Since Mystery Dungeon has a lot of caves, they should be seperated by game. Turtwig A Contributions Talk 22:20, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
Also, how should Gravel Cave be included because it is the only cave in Pokémon Rumble. Turtwig A Contributions Talk 22:27, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

list of Pokémon that live in caves

Should there be a list of Pokémon that live in caves in this article? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 03:03, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

I don't think so. CuboneKing 03:11, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Snowpoint Temple

Is Snowpoint Temple a cave? Is a Dusk Ball more effective in it? Also, I copy+pasted the List of caves section into Word, and it said that there were 114 '*'s, not 112 caves. ~Enervation 14:07, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

The game treats it as one, so the Dusk Ball is more effective here, but the same goes for Ilex Forest. Therefore, it should not be listed here. --SnorlaxMonster 08:03, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

Ransei

Does Ransei have caves? It wasn't shown in that page. --HoennLove200 (talk) 23:24, 30 December 2014 (UTC)

Caves are one of the variety of kingdom locations with wild Pokémon. glikglak 23:47, 30 December 2014 (UTC)

Pokémon Island Cave probably is a conflict

Hmm, so our Snap coverage appears to say the in game name of the location given the article Pokémon Island Cave is "Cave". Which means there is an actual "same name" conflict occurring.

  • From Pokémon Island Cave: "The Cave (Japanese: どうくつ Cave) is one of the six major areas of Pokémon Island..." "The Cave is home to many nocturnal and Poison Pokémon."
  • From Pokémon Island: There is a table with the name field simply being "Cave"
  • From Pokémon Snap: In the locations section, under Pokémon Island, the bullet point reads only as "Cave".

Considering notes are free (the first one anyway), I don't see much reason to not have the note for the literal "Cave" location at the top. Salmancer (talk) 16:19, 16 March 2024 (UTC)

Return to "Cave" page.
