You mean the fact that certain colours are wrong? You can add e.g. {{Bad picture|article|bad colours}} to top of the article so that the page is listed on the list of articles with bad images. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 16:45, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Cannot paralyze Normal types in Gen I

Per Smogon research, Body Slam cannot paralyze Normal-type Pokémon in Gen I, as Pokémon cannot be paralyzed/burned/frozen by attacks of their own type. There has been no confirmation of how Stadium handles things as of yet. Bwburke94 (talk) 03:26, 28 December 2014 (UTC)

Empirical testing on Smogon has also shown that Body Slam cannot paralyze Normal-type Pokémon in Stadium. --SnorlaxMonster 15:10, 30 December 2014 (UTC)

Body Slam Changes in Generation VII

Ive been messing around in Pokemon Moon and I dont think the move "Body Slam" gets two times damage from using minimize anymore. Though it might still always hit and now have a higher chance to paralyze. Still looking into this. Should I just edit the page to reflect these changes? Im new to the site.

I also might have messed up the talk page a little and I dont know how to fix it. Might need a moderators help.

Those Minimize effects are a hassle. However, if you are sure it has changed (and realized that the target needs to have minimized, not the user), please feel free to add that; there should be no assumption. From experience, I'd be double-triple checking that apparent paralysis increase, as it's very hard to estimate percentages correctly when you're not actually counting—I think it's more likely that it just appears to have increased, when actually there's nothing. Thanks for replying! Ive tested it out a fair bit, and there doesn't seem to be any percentage change for paralyze as it turns out. And it turns out I missed where it said that it was the target that had to have minimize. Thank goodness I asked XD Again, thanks for your help. Lijosu (talk) 23:58, 26 December 2016 (UTC)

hiding gif

is it possible to hide/autohide the gen 1 animation of the move? it's somewhat easy to scroll past and miss the warning and is just painful on the eyes in general - unsigned comment from Blazeofvictory (talkcontribs)

Fixed. Landfish7 04:19, 19 August 2022 (UTC)
Thanks! Is it possible/necessary to replicate the changes for the other pages with the same seizure warning? I saw that they had the original Japanese gif hidden but for example the Hyper Beam gif in RBY had similar strobing effects, if a bit toned down - unsigned comment from Blazeofvictory (talkcontribs)
I will look into those soon. Btw, make sure to sign your comments with four tildes, like so (~~~~). Keep in mind, the unsigned template cannot be replaced with your signature, as it will give off the incorrect time stamp. Landfish7 14:21, 19 August 2022 (UTC)
