Uh... the comment about the Sacred Ash (Once all 50 Battle CDs have been defeated, the player receives the Sacred Ash. ) is inaccurate. You get the Sacred Ash from a specific CD, not from completing them all. Fishman 00:14, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Battle CD vs. Battle CDs

For some odd reason, we've got two articles that are basically the same thing. It's obvious we're going to have to merge them, but the questions are how the information's going to be merged and where the merged article's title should be...--Shiningpikablu252 18:00, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Is there a template that suggests that an article should be merged with another? That'd be usefulPokeManiac102 22:58, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
No there isn't... let TTE decide.PokeManiac102 23:04, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Yea but if we were to wait for the others, it would probably be ages.PokeManiac102 23:11, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

The "Unknowns" in the CD profiles

The CD profiles still appear to have "unknown" in their profiles, and experiments would need to be done to figure them out. For example I experimented Battle CD 16, when Misdreavus used Confuse Ray to test Slowking's ability, it confused it, revealing it indeed has Oblivious and not Own Tempo. Battle CD Guide

I was wondering, why not add a walkthrough for each Battle CD? I can help with some, since I recently finished all 50 Battle CDs (Latios and Latias Side B took me ages). -- 8o8 Dark 17:43, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

I started compiling the in-game advice (what the receptionist tells you if you lose) and have most up through 35 currently. Missing 6, 10, 12, 14, 15, 18, 21, 22, 24, 29, 31, 33, 34 and 36-50. There's not currently a designated spot for them but there could be in the future... Anyway, I think these would be nice but an actual walkthrough would go against policy. Dragoness 10:13, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
Well, it wouldn't be against policy if it were in the appendix namespace as part of Project Walkthroughs. --SnorlaxMonster 10:22, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

BCD Template

Well, I tried. Was going to just take a break at 25, but it kind of broke the page... Maybe it'll be better if I complete it, I dunno. User:Dragoness/Battle CD Here for now. Dragoness 09:36, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

I tried manually coding the templates within templates to reduce the number of templates used, but it didn't help anywhere near enough. I think this page is going to have to be broken up into multiple subpages (20-40 at a time?). --SnorlaxMonster 10:11, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
It looks like 25 will fit on one page, so maybe just split it in half? Dragoness 10:14, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I suggest Battle CD/CDs 1-25 and Battle CD/CDs 26-50 or Battle CD/1-25 and Battle CD/26-50. This page would be kept with all the general info, while the CDs themselves would go on those pages. --SnorlaxMonster 10:22, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
Alright, I'll try that tomorrow. On a related note, I noticed the auto-formatting screwed up for some of the prizes... I don't really know how to get around that or if that requires a template change or what? 21 and 25 are the ones having problems. One's a TM and the other is a multiple. Dragoness 10:28, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
I don't see that formatting problem. Can you be more specific about what the problem is? --SnorlaxMonster 10:34, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
I meant 24 not 25 oops. Anyway, for 21, the icon shows up as a red link, since Focus Punch doesn't have its own designated icon, and for 24, there is no item called "Lum Berry x5" so neither part works there. I tried changing Focus Punch to TM01 and that didn't work either. Dragoness 10:39, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
Oh, you meant on your page, not this one (I wasn't thinking). I fixed them for you. --SnorlaxMonster 11:04, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
Sweet, thanks. Dragoness 22:26, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

Outdated Trivia

..."This makes them the only Pokémon with variable shiny status that cannot be caught, as the shiny Pokémon found inside of Trainer Tower are always shiny."

That's untrue because a Trainer's Pokémon fought in Pokémon Battle Revolution's single player also has a small chance (presumably the same 1/8192?) of being shiny. (I couldn't remove that part of the Trivia because this article is currently locked.) --Chickasaurus 11:19, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
Done. Hasn't that been outdated since Emerald anyway? I know you could find shinies in the Battle Pyramid. Blazios 11:23, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
Yeah that's true. At least since Ruby and Sapphire if you're unlucky enough to fight a shiny Poochyena in Professor Birch's battle mode. Maybe since Generation II and Pokémon Stadium 2 / Pokémon Crystal's Battle Tower too... --Chickasaurus 11:47, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

Battle CD 51-60?

How come there's a link to Battle CDs 51-60? I know there's only 50 CDs in the game, and even the page itself says this. PokeMaster99999 (talk) 03:12, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

They're "in the game", just not "available"... It looks like we haven't gotten all the data for them so far. Tiddlywinks (talk) 03:38, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
Wait...aren't those the Battle Sims available at the Pokémon HQ Lab? As in, the tutorial ones located in the same Battle Sim system where you battle with a Salamence against a Metagross at the beginning off the game?
So now I know how those matches are stored on the disk... Just makes me question why they would be added to this collection of pages, as I don't think it'd be very useful, or necessary. PokeMaster99999 (talk) 12:43, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
We have things like the Azure Flute, which was never released. Arguably, that's useless, too. For that matter, we list Hidden Abilities for Pokemon you can't legitimately get them for. That could be called useless, or something like. We have things like a whole GlitchDex, which seems like the least useful thing, to me (who in their right minds wants to raise a glitch Pokemon?). In the end, we're jus being complete. If they're identified as CDs 51-60, then it's worth recording their data, even if they aren't obtainable as their own items. And if they are the tutorials, that can be noted (and would make them eminently worth recording). Tiddlywinks (talk) 13:33, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
Return to "Battle CD" page.
