I'm just wondering, is there a reason why Soundproof does not negate Sonicboom? Drake Clawfang 01:58, 1 March 2008 (UTC) | I'm just wondering, is there a reason why Soundproof does not negate Sonicboom? Drake Clawfang 01:58, 1 March 2008 (UTC) | ||
:SonicBoom is a shock wave. Whether it's actually caused by sound or not, deafness doesn't protect you from a wave of pure force.--Loveはドコ? (talk • contribs) 03:01, 1 March 2008 (UTC) | :SonicBoom is a shock wave. Playing my LeafGreen version, I remember trying to wake up my Electrode several times using the Poke Flute, only for said item to play its "catchy tune" with no effect. The Electrode I had was one with Soundproof. Could someone test the Poke Flute on a sleeping Pokemon with the Soundproof ability for me?
