I really believe that humor is one of the prime motivations behind many instances of blatant disregard of physics in the show; can it really be true that Team Rocket getting hurtled hundreds of feet into the air or Brock getting hit over the head and then showing up looking perfectly healthy in the next episode (or even the next scene) is merely a writing oversight or a way to "move the show along"?
