This article claims that in Generation II, Gyarados "became the first of only two shiny Pokémon to be integrated into a game's plot". What is the other? If it is referring to the news report at the start of DPPt, isn't that referring to the same Gyarados? I apologise if this is not what it is referring to, as I have not played Platinum or any non-main series games. If my theory is not the case, perhaps this page should link to or indicate what the other pokemon is.
