How exactly did I "break every shipping redirect"? --[[user:Baby G|<span style="color:#FF4500;">Baby G]]</span> <small>([[user talk:Baby G|<span style="color:#D1E231;">talk to me]]</span>)</small> <small>([[Special:Contributions/Baby_G|<span style="color:#B87333;">see my edits]]</span>)</small> 21:41, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

:Your edit to [[Template:Shipping redirect]] caused all shipping redirects to display this code in the area where the link to the matching page in the Shipping namespace should be:
:<code><nowiki>[[Shipping:|{{{PAGENAME}}}|{{{PAGENAME}}}]]</nowiki></code>
:By making that edit, you made sure that every single one of our 102 shipping redirects did not reach their intended destinations.  For example, instead of being able to get to [[Shipping:CommonerShipping]], the [[CommonerShipping]] shipping redirect was left linked to only the two characters involved.  Other shipping redirects, such as [[History of Pokémon shipping]], were made dead-end pages.
:Had your edit been allowed to stand, shipping traffic would have ground to a standstill since the shipping redirects wouldn't work.  Templates are sensitive things, and reckless edits to them could cause side effects for all of Bulbapedia.  --[[User:Shiningpikablu252|Shiningpikablu252]] 21:48, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
