::Do you expect the whole damn world to stop because of something that happened in America? I don't see us not airing certain shows on the anniversary of the day we nuked Hiroshima. We don't have respect for their lost so why should they have it for us? Way more people died in Hiroshima then on 9/11. Not to mention the Japanese Americans that were put through hell because of Pearl Harbor. I can't believe anyone would say something so petty and stupid. For what we did to them, that doesn't even compare. And its not like American programming has any more sympathy. They are stupid shows all the time without even mentioning 9/11. You should be thankful that Japan forgave us or else who knows, there may not be any Pokémon in America nor any anime. Would you like that? --<span style="color:#33CC66;">ケンジ</span><span style="color:#6600CC;">の</span><span style="color:#FF00CC;">ガール</span> 02:03, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

:::Damn, I'm sorry I missed this. Anyway, I will put myself in the camp of who cares whether an episode was aired on 9/11 or not. Even if its DP episode number is the same as that of one of the flights that was hijacked that day. National tragedy, woohoo. Is everything stopping that day? Are we all not going to school that day? No. Most Americans can't even remember what fricking YEAR it happened in. Not to mention that all it did was allow Bush and friends the chance to be imperialists...
:::Anyway, whoop-dee-doo on its airdate. If we get an episode airing on February 29, then it's notable, because the last time that 2/29 fell on Thursday was 1996, and the next time it does is 2024. But 9/11 is no more specially notable than 12/7 or 8/6 or 8/9. So next year if there's no episode on August 6, you'll know why.
:::So to all of you who think "LOL 911 BAD JAPAN FOR AIRING THEN", stop letting that damn date rule your EVERY FUCKING MOVEMENT. <big><big><big><u>TERRORISTS ATTACK SO THAT YOU WILL FEAR THEM.</u></big></big></big> That's why it's called terrorism! You fear = terrorists WIN. So don't let those assholes win. 9/11 is a day to remember when 2,998 people, not all of them even Americans, died because some people think that killing sends a message. Don't let their message of hate get through. Don't fear 9/11. Don't fear anything. And don't cling to the past or say that more security will solve anything. Better security doesn't mean the government watches your every movement. It just means that they consider you to be the terrorist.
:::And I will close this message with a request. Read Little Brother by Cory Doctorow. You might find it ridiculous... but if you look at it seriously... well, really, is any government whose people fear it actually immune from doing this sort of thing?
