I'd like to ask where you're getting your numbers. Latias (Pokémon)#Type effectiveness has truly bizarre numbers compared to PokéFor's figures. - 振霖T 06:41, 9 November 2005 (CST) | |||
For the physical attack types, I start with 100 and apply weakness/resistance according to the normal rules. For special types, I start with 100*defense/special defense, which allows for better representation of damage ratios. For example, a Psychic move would do about 1.5 times as much damage to a Geodude as a Fighting move of the same strength; just looking as weakness/resistance would make it look like Figting is twice as strong as Psychic.User142 07:48, 9 November 2005 (CST) | For the physical attack types, I start with 100 and apply weakness/resistance according to the normal rules.
