Sometime after returning to Paldea, the team learned of that Explorers' plan to capture the Black Rayquaza and decided to investigate a mysterious tower they had built near Levincia. However, when Friede entered the tower, it turned out to actually be a trap set up by Spinel, locking Friede up inside while the rest of the Explorers admins started the capture operation at a lighthouse outside of Levincia.
