The new colors are kinda jarring (and a bit garish on fire type pages specifically, they clash really bad with the (also newish) red) considering how long the old colors were in use, regardless of how arbitrary they may have been. Stat colors used in one game from several generations ago are barely less arbitrary than what's been in use for years, though.
