This page claims the Regirock and Registeel Dolls can be obtained by scanning the QR codes for Junichi Masuda and Shigeki Morimoto's Bases, but is this really true? Other sites claim those dolls are unobtainable, and I scanned the base QR codes and talked to them repeatedly and never got those dolls. == Decorations reorganization ==
I'm proposing the following changes:
* Merging the following articles on specific categories of decorations into this article:
** Bed, Carpet, Chair, Cushion, Desk, Game system, Mat, Ornament, Plant, Pokémon doll (partial), and Poster
* Splitting the lists of decorations to individual pages per generation, and moving the existing lists of decorations:
** List of decorations (Generation II)
** List of decorations by index number (Generation III) → List of decorations (Generation III)
** Goods → List of decoration goods (Generation IV)
** List of Decorations (Generation VI)
For the merges, most of the pages on the decoration categories are very short, and have a lot of repeated information between themselves as well as with this page. Because the Generation IV games don't categorize their decorations at all, there's often only one or two items that would fall into the bed/chair/cushion/ornament categories used in the other games. I imagine that for most people, it would be more useful to have all of the information on the decorations in a particular game on the same page, rather than seeing information on every plant across multiple games.
For Pokémon doll, there's enough non-decoration-related appearances of Pokémon dolls that I think the page could still stand on its own. I would move the descriptions and prices to the main decorating listing though, and just keep a list of dolls with pictures in each game.
For the splits, this follows what we've done with Trainer customization and the various "List of clothing" articles. This page is quite long, especially with images of each decoration present. I suggest keeping the overview and mechanics on this page, while splitting off only the detailed lists with the sprites, descriptions, how to acquire them, etc. to separate pages. Some notes on usage:
* In Generation II, usage of "decoration" is always in the singular, since it's referring to the decoration of your room rather than the objects themselves. I don't think this is a big issue, since the function is still called もようがえ in subsequent games where the items themselves are called グッズ or もようがえグッズ.
* In Generation IV, while they're often called just "goods" in-game, they're also called "decoration goods" as well. Having "decoration" in the title would better tie it to the main Decoration article.
* In Generation VI, "Decoration" is a proper noun, so capitalizing it in that context would be appropriate.
