As with all cards produced in Europe, the Booster Box, Booster Packs, and Bubblegum packs have the round Nintendo logo on them. Dunkin was a Spanish candy manufacturer most famous for their Boomer Bubblegum.
This was the first Lamincard set produced with Pokemons by Edibas. For the official license that was acquired in 2004, which would end in 2006.

The 1999 cards should not be confused with the [[Dunkin Boomer 2000|2000]] versions that had a white border on the bottom of the cards. Additionally, the version year is noted on the front of the 1999 cards.
All cards text are in Italian for this first set, since this was the home country of Edibas. After the succesfull launch of this Lamincard set 6 others followed with several different other languages on them.

These cards can easily be distinguished from other Lamincards sets due to the striking Vertical background used in the cards. The Pokémon artwork corresponds with the Rainbow Advanced set which was made in 2005. These had the horizontal background on them. An other easy way to distinguish the difference is the blue versus the rainbow backside of the cards.
