Indeedee (Pokémon): Difference between revisions

Indeedee may be based on {{wp|Lares}}, the household deities in {{wp|Religion in ancient Rome|ancient Roman religion}}, said to protect the house in exchange for worship and gratitude. Lares are commonly depicted in pairs and holding {{wp|Rhyton|rhyta}}, horn-like containers that often depict {{wp|Satyrs}}, half-goat creatures from {{wp|Greek Mythology}}. It may also draw inspiration from {{wp|Brownie (folklore)|brownies}}, the household spirits from {{wp|British folklore}} said to come out at night to perform domestic and farming tasks. Their gender-specific motifs may also be based on {{wp|Housekeeper (domestic worker)|housekeeper}}s, with its male form having traits of a butler and its female form having traits of a maid.
