::::::What do you mean if we keep track of every move, that's what we've been doing since the beginning. It doesn't matter if a character goes from one region to another it's still set in the a certain generation. :::::::Pretend I'm a Gliscor in the anime who knows the move Sky Uppercut in the Alola region, during the end of the last episode of Sun & Moon. Fast forward a few seconds to the beginning of JN001, and I just magically lose the ability to use Sky Uppercut, the only reason being that, out-of-universe, it’s a new generation in which Sky Uppercut was cut? That makes absolutely no sense in any context. In-universe, the Pokémon games, and therefore the concept of generations, don’t exist; there’s not some magic force or omniscient being that exists both in-universe and out of the anime whose job it is to ensure that every single little aspect in the world within the anime follows the games to a T. :::::::If you keep track with all this mess, shouldn't there be also a page that would collect all the moves that appear in the anime despite dexcut? BTW, there's still an issue with Pokemon appearing in the anime and not being available in the newest generation.--'''[[User:Team Rocket Grunt|Rocket]] [[User talk:Team Rocket Grunt|Grunt]]''' 13:39, 14 June 2023 (UTC)
