It was obtained by reaching level 6 and upgrading {{m|Light Screen}} into it instead of {{m|Barrier}}. The user fires a beam, swapping base Defense and Sp. Defense with another Pokémon for as long as they stay in range or until another target is Guard Swapped. Swapping with an enemy slows and damages them over time while increasing the user's movement speed. Swapping with an ally increases the movement speed of that ally and the user. Damage ticks every .5s. At level 13, the move heals the user, plus an ally if tethered to them every .5s.
