This card was included in the {{TCG|Scarlet & Violet}} expansion, first released in each of the three Japanese {{TCG|ex Starter Sets}} and the later {{TCG|ex Starter Set Pikachu ex & Pawmot}}. A Reverse Holofoil version with a Pokémon Center stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork was available as a preorder incentive for several Scarlet & Violet products. For each Scarlet & Violet Booster Display (36 packs), {{TCGMerch|Scarlet & Violet|Series|Scarlet & Violet Booster Bundle}}, or {{TCGMerch|Scarlet & Violet|Series|Scarlet & Violet Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box}} preordered through the {{OBP|Pokémon Center|store}} online store, customers would receive a copy of the Holofoil variant with their shipment. The preorder period was open between January 13 and March 31, 2023 to those in the {{pmin|the United States}}, {{pmin|Canada}}, and {{pmin|the United Kingdom}}.
