::Just because a lot of these Pokemon are amalgamations of various sources, doesn't mean you can just add whatever. It also still needs to make sense, Scizor is not a crustacean and doesn't look like one. If you say crab, people would be expecting a crab like creature, not something that just happens to have pincers, which isn't somethimg exclusive to crabs. Scorpion can be a bit believable as its an arachnid (not an insect, but close enough).
