The floor reached by taking the stairs in the upper-right section of the ruins’ entry level has only Unown of the "F" variety, the following area (reached by taking the lower-left staircase next) has "R," and so on (continuing in the order laid out by the inscription), spelling out the word "friend". The dead-end rooms (reached by not following the Unown alphabet instructions) house the other twenty varieties of Unown. The last room holds four items and an inscription written in Unown script. In {{game|Platinum}} one of the items is {{HM|05|Defog}}. The writing reads as follows:

===In {{pkmn|Legends: Arceus}}===

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the Solaceon Ruins are composed of one huge, bare room and is the site where the player meets [[Warden]] [[Calaba]]. An inscription reading "All lives touch other lives to create something anew and alive" is also found here, and is interpreted as ancient wisdom.

Unown do not initially appear within the Solaceon Ruins. Once the player has collected all 28 Unown found all across Hisui, wild Unown will begin appearing within the Solaceon Ruins.
