The Mystery of the Fossils set is released in Japanese, all with rarity symbols. The Fossil set is released in English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese in both 1st and unlimited edition. The non-holo cards of the English unlimited edition Fossil set were also all printed with ©1999-2000 copyright date, inserted in Australian red logo products. All holofoil cards, with the exception of the Zapdos that can be found in the {{TCG|Tempest Gift Box}}, were only printed with ©1999 copyright date. All English unlimited edition ©1999 holofoil Rares can also be found with Cosmos holofoil pattern instead of the usual Galaxy holofoil. How these English Cosmos holofoil Fossil cards were released is unknown, but rumors state they were leaked by WotC employees. | |||
