:::If the ECS needed a very long text to explain all the functions (like the Pokédex), then it would probably be nice to keep it in a single ECS article as well.

:::But in this case, I don't think that splitting the explanation and list for each generations helps a lot. I would still suggest using "Easy chat system (Generation V)" if it's alright. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 11:42, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

::::I'm with SnorlaxMonster here. I believe this page should have all the technical details and stuff, having separate headers for separate generations is no problem imo. (That's how articles like Mystery Gift work too.) With Daniel's proposal, I believe this very page (with the title most would type in) would merely be a disambiguation-style collection of articles!? And that's not preferable imo.
::::Also, it is my understanding that "List of" type of articles aren't typically typed in into the search bar (by casual readers) anyway.
::::I think I'd actually slightly prefer one page "List of easy chat words" (with generation headers) over the by generation version of that (and/but I also believe the current page is fine). Nescientist (talk) 12:54, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
