Trivia
From EP001 to EP005 and EP038, Pokémon's voices were dubbed. This was due to the fact that their voices came separately from the sound effects audio track in those episodes, which forced the dubbing team to have to dub them.
Season 2 Opening ("Pokémon World") was not adapted when the series was broadcast on SIC. The opening passed with the images of the theme, but varying, either with the theme of the first season (version of Henrique Feist) or with the theme of the third background season.
According to Peter Michael, his abrupt departure in the middle of season 2 (together with his brother Rui Luís Brás) was due to disagreements between them and Nacional Filmes, since they were owed them months of wages in arrears.
The title of season 3 was wrongly translated in Portugal, since this season there is no Pokémon League in progress.
Like what happened a lot in Portugal at the time, third season premiered first in the format of monthly VHS of three episodes each and only later on TV.
At Japan Weekend 2010, Bárbara Lourenço stated that she did not like to dub Ash Ketchum in season 5 and 6, and for this same reason, was replaced by Raquel Ferreira in Pokémon: Advanced Challenge.
Some episodes of season 10 went through audio sync corrections when broadcast on Biggs.
In SM117 the opening was shown in Italian when the episode aired on Biggs.
