Max Lair: Difference between revisions

The Max Lair's entrance is a small, simple cave with people and scientific equipment. The interiors are filled with labyrinthe caves filled with [[Dynamax]] Pokémon. At the end of each of these caves is a special Pokémon. Due to the large amount of Galar particles inside the Max Lair, those who enter aren't allowed to use their own Pokémon, but must choose a [[rental Pokémon]] that's resistant to the particles' effects.

After the {{player}} has completed the main story of [[The Crown Tundra]], [[Peony]] and [[Peonia]] can be found here. Peony will comment on the special Pokémon the player catches here and can also be battled once per day. Peonia will sometimes tell the player of a special Pokémon she's discovered at the Max Lair, and tell the player how to find it in exchange for [[Dynite Ore]]. If the player accepts this, the next time they take on the Max Lair, said Pokémon will be at the end.

In the Max Lair, the player can take on Dynamax Adventures. The player can form teams of four with either other players or NPC Trainers. The game is [[save]]d before each Dynamax Adventure, after which each participant chooses a rental Pokémon from a selection of three to start the adventure with. During the Adventure, the team will make their way through a series of [[Max Raid Battle]]s to reach the special Pokémon at the end. Initially, these are just [[Legendary Pokémon]], but after the player has found [[Legendary Clue?]] and shown it to Peony, [[Ultra Beast]]s will also start to appear. Every Pokémon defeated during a Dynamax Adventure can be {{pkmn2|caught}} without fail, but only one Pokémon can be kept from each adventure.
