However, Team Aqua had Groudon in their possession, so the two organizations agreed to trade the two super-ancient [[Legendary Pokémon]] on [[Monsu Island]]. Simultaneously, a counter-operation saw [[Team Aqua]]'s [[Shelly]] infiltrate Team Magma's ship in disguise as a {{tc|Team Magma Grunt}}, allowing her to free Kyogre. After being freed, Kyogre escaped Team Magma's ship and leaped into the ocean. [[Archie]] used the [[Red Orb]] to control Kyogre and ordered it to destroy Team Magma's ship with {{m|Hyper Beam}}. It was later seen sleeping in a containment chamber onboard Team Aqua's submarine. Kyogre once again escaped after {{TRT}} failed to catch it with their electrified net.
